Our daughter began here at BLS for preschool when she was 3 and is now in the 6th grade. Every teacher has been wonderful, providing her with an excellent academic education, promoting personal responsibility,
community development and strong work ethic in a positive, nurturing environment. At the same time, our Christian beliefs and values are being reinforced and encouraged all day long—every day. This is so essential as the most important relationship we will ever have is with God. She has also had the opportunity to pursue other interests such as vocal and instrumental music, theater and sports. We are looking forward to another 2 years here!

We were invited to Bethlehem by some friends who expressed their love and enthusiasm for the church and school. After attending a few church services we decided to look into Bethlehem as a school for our 5 yr. old daughter. We found a strongly committed staff, caring volunteers, and strong leadership. The school offers so many opportunities for children of all ages including weekly art, gym, and music classes and a variety of extra-curricular activities, and even though the school is larger than the last school that we were a part of, the classrooms remain smaller and are able to give students more attention. The school made an impression on our family when we had some concerns about our daughter's behavior in class and her teacher and the principal were very helpful. They listened, worked with us to find a solution, and followed through with communication every step of the way. We came because of a friend, but we will stay because of the commitment the staff has to God and the families that belong to Bethlehem.

When it came time for our daughters to begin school, Bethlehem Lutheran School was our only choice. It has everything we want in a school.
We love the class sizes, the high level of academics, the teachers who care for and encourage their students helping them to succeed and the extended family environment. It has been amazing to witness our daughters’ spiritual and academic growth. We know they will be well prepared both spiritually and academically for their future because of Bethlehem Lutheran School. It was priceless to hear our seven-year-old daughter tell a grown adult that she goes to Bethlehem Lutheran School and gets to learn about Jesus everyday and that He died on the cross to save her from her sins.

Bethlehem Lutheran School (BLS) has been a big part of our family for years. My husband Tim attended BLS from kindergarten through eighth grade. Because his experience was so positive, he wanted to make the commitment to our children to provide them with the same strong Christian education. Along with top-quality academic instruction, our children have encountered compassionate teachers who are dedicated to guiding each child’s character. The educators at Bethlehem Lutheran School are very strong in teaching students to take ownership not only of their education, but of their behavior. My children’s relationship with Jesus Christ is fostered through daily class time devotions, prayer, and a weekly chapel service in which they often have the chance to participate. A highlight for my kids has been their “chapel partners”. The students in the upper grades escort students from the younger grades to the sanctuary and sit with them. The younger students love having a “big” kid to look up to, and the older students get a great opportunity to mentor a younger child.
My children have benefitted from small class sizes, clear expectations, and high academic standards. Bethlehem Lutheran School has been a great blessing to our family.
