Bethlehem Lutheran School exists today through the grace of God and the unwavering
faith of our church’s founding members. Wanting to continue the long-standing
Lutheran tradition of providing an exemplary Christian education for
their children and grandchildren, Bethlehem Lutheran School opened its
doors to its first students in 1940. Over the years, BLS has grown from
that first one-room schoolhouse to a multi-faceted facility housing 18
individual classrooms (two each in 1st-8th grade), computer and science
labs, library, main and auxiliary gymnasiums, cafeteria, playground,
and sports field. The goal of BLS today remains the same as when it first
began—to prepare our students with an exemplary Christian education.
BLS currently serves 310 preschool through eighth grade students and their families.
