K-8 Day School

Welcome to Bethlehem Lutheran!

Our first through fourth grade students participate in math, reading, English, science, social studies, art, music, physical education, and religion lessons, daily devotions, and a weekly all-school chapel service.

In addition to the basic curriculum, fifth through eighth grade students may choose from electives which meet their interests, as well as participating in after-school sports during the fall, winter, and spring seasons: soccer, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, and track.

Our childcare program (Childwatch) allows parents the flexibility of dropping off their children between the ages of 3-14 at school as early as 6:30am and picking them up after school as late as 6:00pm to accommodate work schedules.

Spiritual Life

Spiritual Life

“…for I know that plans I have for you, says the Lord…” Jeremiah 29:11

At Bethlehem Lutheran School we believe that all children were created with special and unique gifts and our mission is to go above and beyond the norms of education to help children reach their God-given potential. Our Lutheran Christian education goes above and beyond to inspire students to greatness, allowing Christ in the classroom, the science lab, the athletic field, the lunchroom and the hearts of our students.

How are students taught about Christ?

  • Weekly chapel services led by pastors, teachers, and students
  • Bible stories and truths taught at every level, every day, in every classroom
  • Bible verses committed to memory weekly
  • Daily prayer in the classrooms led by teachers and students
  • Teachers presenting each academic class from a Christian perspective
  • Community service projects and service collections to showcase Christ’s love to the world
Technology

Technology

Bethlehem students use computers for research and creation of presentations for class assignments. We believe technology is an important part of education in today’s world; therefore, we make computers easily accessible to students in the library, computer lab, and each classroom.

SmartBoards have also been added to each classroom in kindergarten through 8th grade. SmartBoards are interactive whiteboards which help improve learning outcomes, allowing teachers to deliver dynamic lessons, write notes in digital ink, and save their work for future student instruction.
