Cheerleading: Girls in 7th & 8th grade have the opportunity to
participate in cheerleading. Tryouts take place in the spring for the follow
year’s squad. The cheerleading team promotes and encourages school spirit for
the athletic events throughout the school year.
Choir: Each student in grades K-8 has the opportunity to participate in a school choir. Each choir performs at least seven times a year.
Band: Each student in grades 4-8 has the opportunity to belong to the band and participate in small group lessons. Students with one or more years of experience perform with the Concert Band.
Handbells: Handbell choir is an elective for students in 5-8th grade.
Art: Students learn about artists and their styles at all grade levels and practice art in the classrooms.
Drama: Students study drama in class and those interested in additional opportunities participate in the Christmas programs. The eighth grade class presents a Melodrama each spring.
Contest: Students are given many opportunities to display their unique talents in writing, math, art, geography, spelling, etc. in local, state and national contests. These include:
