NJHS Induction May 15
Bethlehem's NJHS (National Junior Honor Society) Induction ceremony will be held in the Chapel on Wed., May 15, 2013. These students have shown academic achievements, leadership skills, and service in their home church and at Bethlehem. Congratulations Students!
School is Closed Tuesday, April 9, 2013.
Due to Blizzard Conditions and closings in area school districts including Jeffco and Denver Public Schools, Bethlehem School and Early Learning Center will be closed Tuesday April 9, 2013. We will reopen on regular schedules Wednesday, April 10.
Bobcat Round Up Carnival Fri., Mar. 8
Bobcat Round Up Carnival 2013
Our Bobcat Round Up Carnival will be Friday, March 8th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The western themed carnival promises to be an afternoon of fun for all of Bethlehem’s students! All 7th & 8th grade students will sell tickets in the classrooms Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in $5 bundles. All food & activity sales will be by tickets purchased in advance only-no cash inside the carnival! Make sure the kids wear their western duds for the western themed digital pictures which can be purchased for $2.50 (form is on the last page of this edition). Games and activities will include Line Dancing, Ring Toss, Target Throw, Potato sack race, Cowboy Ducks in the pond, sucker pull, Cupcake walk, spoon races and more! Most activities will cost $.50 each. Cow & Cowboy balloons will be sold for $2.00. Gold (chicken) Nuggets, ‘lil (corn) doggies, popcorn and lemonade will be available for $1.50 each. Plush animals, custom BLS card decks and other treasures will be available in $1.00 to $2.50 range. All proceeds will go toward funding of next fall’s Junior High Retreat.
Super School News
Bethlehem’s newscast of Super School News will be streamed on the Rocky Mountain PBS website, in addition to the broadcast on television during the days and times below. To access our school’s newscast, go to www.rmpbs.org.ssn and click on the “Watch School News” link. Click on our school’s name and you will be prompted to enter the following username and password to view the video:

Password: superKIDS1 (this is case sensitive)
The newscast will be available approximately 1 week after our taping date. It will remain posted for the duration of the school year.

Bethlehem Beginnings Early Learning Center Wish List
It’s time to fill the shelves with learning tools for our preschoolers. Our supply round-up runs from Feb. 17-Mar. 1. For a complete list of items, look for the file under Digital Lockers (Preschool Wish List). You may drop your items on Sunday mornings at the reception desk, on Wednesday during Lenten Services at the reception desk, and during the week at the ELC check in station. We also gladly accept cash donations. While you are digging through your stuff, remember that our Save Your Stuff Fundraiser is May 3 & 5. An ARC truck will be here to collect your donations of good used items that can be resold in their thrift shops.

Summer Camp 2013
We are planning an exciting summer with open swimming on Tuesdays and Thursdays and field trips every Wednesday and Friday for kids Kindergarten through 6th grade. We will also have our Jr. Counselor program for those going into 7th, 8th and 9th grades. Registration opens March 15.Open House flyer 2013

Bethlehem's Parent Teacher League’s main fund raising event
The Bobcat Boogie 5K Run/Walk. Volunteers work throughout the year to organize, recruit sponsors, register runners and plan this event.
Register for the event, become a sponsor, or volunteer! Proceeds directly benefit the school.
Childwatch 01-21-2013
Childwatch is open on January 21, 2013, for students K-8. If your students wants to participate in the field trip to Big Time Trampoline, please fill out the waiver form. You will find these forms at the Childwatch check in/out station.
